Medical Competency Evaluation


The medical competency evaluation is a systematic method through which the competency level of a medical student is adjudged. This measures the student’s basic foundation of medical knowledge and his or her ability to practically apply the theoretical knowledge in varied situations. This is done extensively in medical schools wherein it becomes necessary to decide the student’s medical aptitude in different aspects and thereby implement methods for improvement.
